Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is an Filipino American performer as well as a comedian, host of a television show and model. Regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is regarded as being among the most experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. The live shows saw Angelica perform the song Clarity, performed by Zedd In the semi-finals. and Without You, By David Guetta during the semifinals. Angelica reached the finals, in which she performed Symphony of Clean Bandit. In the finale, she was singing Stronger along together with Kelly Clarkson. The youngest-ever runner-up, Hale was second on the podium. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. She was 4 at the time. Her illness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed Angelica Hale on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys that didn't recover. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After an eighteen-day stay in the hospital Angelica nearly died after which she began a journey of recovery. Angelica endured dialysis treatments for over a decade half years before receiving an organ transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mother. Angelica as well as her mom underwent the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on the 13th of September, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one another. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and singer, is still pursuing this dream.
