Angelica

Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines. She is an Filipino American performer as well as a comedian, host of a television show and model. Regarded as the new Queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is regarded as being among the most experienced and talented actresses in the Philippines. The word angelica roots means that only the roots of the plant are employed. The majority of A. archangelica products and supplements contain seeds, fruits or flowers. Most Sinensis products contain only the root. Angelica competed in the season 12 of America's Got Talent, where her performance of Rise Up (by Andra) helped get her past the auditions. Angelica was awarded an award of gold from the guest judge Chris Hardwick in the Judge Cuts Round after performing Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys. She was then sent straight into the Live Shows. The live shows saw Angelica perform the song Clarity, performed by Zedd In the semi-finals. and Without You, By David Guetta during the semifinals. Angelica reached the finals, in which she performed Symphony of Clean Bandit. In the finale, she was singing Stronger along together with Kelly Clarkson. The youngest-ever runner-up, Hale was second on the podium. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. She was 4 at the time. Her illness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed Angelica Hale on ECMO assistance for lifesaving treatments. Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys that didn't recover. It was her new normal to have hemodialyses and peritoneal-dialysis. After an eighteen-day stay in the hospital Angelica nearly died after which she began a journey of recovery. Angelica endured dialysis treatments for over a decade half years before receiving an organ transplant. The kidney that would be donated to her came from her mother. Angelica as well as her mom underwent the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on the 13th of September, 2013, at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one another. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always wanted to be an actress and singer, is still pursuing this dream.
