Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco artist. When she was a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. Her singing interests have broadened to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and renowned musician has described the voice of this young artist as sassy and sweet but with bite. El Mal Querer, her second album following Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and won a Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She worked with numerous musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. In March 2022 the set was launched following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform as a solo performer on the show. Motomami was the sole female in history to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times in addition to the three Latin Grammy Awards.
